Andy Wadhera is the President of CALTREND Automotive Products. CALTREND is a local manufacturer of automobile seat covers and bras. As CALTREND’s President, Mr. Wadhera envisioned a company that would be quality driven, and up to date with the latest technology. This vision is now a reality at CALTREND due to its dual certification in QS-9000 and 9002 standards. The company is also a TIER-1 supplier to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in the Automotive Industry, and has been awarded the Top Performance Award by General Motors of America on two different occasions. Mr. Wadhera has a strong business background – he has over 30 years of hands-on experience in owning and managing industries in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He takes pride in sharing the extensive knowledge he has acquired from his business ventures with others. As a result, Mr. Wadhera has delivered lectures on industrial management to post-graduate students. Mr. Wadhera has been serving on the Santa Ana WIB since May 2004. He joined the board because of his interest in keeping manufacturing companies in Santa Ana, and the need to have a skilled workforce to fill available jobs in those companies. He currently serves on the Employer & Customer Service Committee. He holds a Bachelors of Commerce Degree from University of Bombay, India, an MBA from University of Indore, India, and a post-graduate diploma from London School of Economics.
